Wholesale

Everything on this site is already sold at the wholesale price. This page is only about how it works if you are buying to sell on.

There is no trade counter here and no price list to ask for. The wholesale price is printed on every product page next to the retail price, and anybody can buy at it — you only have to take the box.

Nothing held back for the trade

Our shop price and our wholesale price, side by side

Most shops keep two price lists and show you one. We keep one, and print all of it. Buy a single piece and you pay the shop price. Buy the box the mill packs and you pay what a shop pays. Buy a bale and you pay what a wholesaler pays. Every figure below is per piece and is live from the catalogue.

The one rule worth reading

How colours work

Colour is an assortment, not a choice — that is the trade-off that makes these prices possible, and we would rather you knew it before you ordered than after.

One pieceYou get one of the colours in stock and we choose it. Every colour we hold is photographed and on the product page, so you can see the whole set you are choosing from — but you cannot pick from it at this price.
A boxAn assortment. The mill packs a box as a spread of colours and we send it on as packed, which is exactly why the per-piece price drops so far.
Named coloursAsk for particular colours and that starts at the full box. Tell us which ones and we pack it your way, at that pack’s own price.

Nothing is hidden and nothing quietly runs out: a colour that is out of stock leaves the page, so what you see is what we can send.

What a box actually is

A full box is the pack the mill itself makes up — the same one a shop buys. We do not open it, re-count it or re-price it. A bale is ten of those boxes, and it is the lowest price we sell anything at. Delivery is charged on the weight of the parcel, on top of the price, delivered to your door, and the product page shows it for your PIN code before you decide.

Which pack lets you name colours is set out in the rule above, and every product page repeats it in the buy box before you commit. Put the pack in the basket and tell us the colours you actually move in the order notes.

What you are actually buying

Genuine fabric, at the price the factory charges

Cotton that is actually cottonBengal taant — crisp handloom cotton off the looms of Bengal, the kind you can hear when you unfold it. A great deal of what sells online as a "cotton saree" is polyester printed to look like one. Ours is not, and we will replace any piece that is.
Silk at the price the mill sells itWoven in Surat and Varanasi and bought at the loom, not through an agent. That is the whole reason a genuine silk saree here costs about what a synthetic one costs elsewhere — there is nobody in between adding a margin to it.
The factory floor to your door, and nothing in betweenNo agent, no wholesaler, no showroom rent. We buy the box the mill packs, and add one fixed margin that you can work out yourself from the prices above.

One honest warning. A cotton saree reaches you exactly as it comes off the loom — with the extra length and the hook the mill leaves at the end. That is what an unfinished, genuine piece looks like. Cut it before the first wear.

Paying, and getting it

UPI, card, net banking, or Cash on Delivery — trade orders included. Delivery goes by registered courier up to 10 kg and by transport above that, charged on the weight of the parcel and shown before you pay. Both come to your door — there is no pickup and nothing to collect from a transport office. There is no account to open, no deposit and no agent in between: one box is a perfectly good first order.
